AMERICAN FORK, Utah – BrainStorm, Inc., the Utah-based SaaS company responsible for the award-winning learning platform QuickHelp™, welcomes the addition of Karen Peterson as Chief Marketing Officer and Chris Lee as VP of Client Success as the company enters a new phase of growth.

“We couldn’t be more excited to have Karen and Chris join the BrainStorm team,” said Eric Farr, BrainStorm principal. “They come to BrainStorm at the top of their games and as leaders in their fields. They will be critical in BrainStorm’s mission to change the way the world works, and we can’t wait to see what they can do.”

Lee most recently served as president of Deseret Digital Media (DDM). He led DDM through a period of rapid revenue and profitability growth and realization of its mission to positively engage millions of people worldwide. “As Marc Andreessen proclaimed prophetically in 2011, ‘Software is eating the world.’ People need help to make sense of it all. That’s where BrainStorm thrives – helping improve the human connection to the software we use every day,” stated Lee. “BrainStorm’s leaders have clearly identified this opportunity to change the way software is adopted and have built a fantastic team to pursue it. I’m excited to help.”

Peterson comes to BrainStorm from high-growth technology company, Ancestry, where she most recently served as Sr. Vice President of US Marketing and interim CMO. Peterson has a particularly strong background in performance and customer experience marketing and was a key driver in the growth of the DNA business. “I was searching for an innovative tech company with strong growth, the potential to scale and an amazing culture. All roads led to BrainStorm,” said Peterson. “The team at BrainStorm is passionate about their work, their community and the untapped potential of people. I’m thrilled to build on that momentum and help BrainStorm reach and empower new audiences.”

BrainStorm was recently named Utah Tech Council’s 2018 Tech Titan and has been named one of the Top 50 Best Places to Work and Best Places to Work for Women by Fortune. “Our greatest strength will always be our people and our culture. If you share the same passion for technology and change, we want you here,” said Farr.
