BrainStorm introduces native SCORM support to expand modern learning journeys

American Fork, Utah, March 30, 2026 — BrainStorm today announced the general availability of native SCORM support across its platform. One of the most requested features from customers and prospects, SCORM support is now available to all BrainStorm customers. Customer education leaders can upload their existing SCORM content directly into BrainStorm and deliver it as part of broader learning journeys — without replacing the content libraries they've spent years building.

The launch addresses a challenge that has long been top of mind for customer education teams: how to modernize their learning academy without having to start over.

The problem it solves

For customer education teams at SaaS companies, SCORM content represents years of investment — structured onboarding courses, product certifications, compliance training, and more. The challenge has been that most SCORM content lives inside standalone LMS platforms that weren't built around driving product adoption. Completion data sits in one system, engagement data in another, and learning leaders are left piecing together a fragmented picture of whether any of it is working.

At the same time, the pressure to evolve is real. Customers expect faster, more personalized learning experiences. And customer education leaders are increasingly asked to tie training directly to product adoption and business outcomes.

SCORM support in BrainStorm lets teams bring their existing content into the platform and start delivering it alongside everything else — without rebuilding from scratch.

What's included

Upload and manage SCORM content at scale: BrainStorm supports both SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004 packages. Teams can upload individual packages or use bulk upload to bring multiple courses into the platform at once. BrainStorm automatically detects the course manifest and prepares each package for delivery. SCORM assets are managed alongside all other BrainStorm content types from a single admin view.

Embed SCORM inside BrainStorm Flows™: SCORM courses can be added as steps within BrainStorm Flows™, alongside videos, surveys, emails, and other learning activities. SCORM outcomes can also be used as branching conditions — a learner's completion status or score can determine what happens next in the Flow, whether that's routing them to a different learning path or triggering a follow-up communication.

Track learner progress and performance: BrainStorm captures completion status, pass/fail outcomes, assessment scores, and time spent in the course. All of this is available in BrainStorm's reporting tools alongside data from the rest of the learning academy.

Why now

Customer education is under more scrutiny than ever. Learning leaders are being asked to show real impact — not just completion rates, but evidence that training is driving product adoption and customer success. Having SCORM content in a separate system makes that harder. Bringing it into BrainStorm means teams can finally see the full picture in one place.
